Now in its fifth year, Art of Pride returns on June 7 for an afternoon of queer joy and radical imagination. This free, intergenerational event brings together LGBTQ+ artists, performers, and community organizations from across Chicago to honor the brilliance of queer and trans communities. This year’s celebration features live performances by Zachary Nichol, Ava Wanbli, Rain Garden, and chelliah, DJ sets by AJ McClenon and NAXO 9999, films curated by Chicago Underground Film Festival, art activities led by Veronica Casado Hernandez, Lucky Jefferson, and Gage Park Latinx Council, testing and wellness services by Center on Cottage Grove and Project VIDA, and a queer & trans artist vendor market.
