The exhibition Jeff Carter: Singer Pavilion Projectexplores the history and legacy of the Singer Pavilion last remaining building from the Michael Reese Memorial Hospital through multimedia artworks by Carter. The hospital closed in 2009 and the 48 acre campus was demolished between 2009-2013. Join artists Jeff Carter and Danielle DeGrasse Levi and urban geographer Dr. Winifred Curran as they reflect on the legacy of abandoned mega sites, while also considering complext histories of investment and disinvestment in the city.
