Austen Ball

All gentlemen and ladies are cordially invited to attend our Austen Ball on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 6:30pm in the library meeting rooms. All members of our community, ages 13* and older are welcome. Those interested in receiving dance instruction prior to the ball are also invited to join us on the following dates for dance practice: September 23, 7pm September 30, 7pm Participants may attend all events or one event, as instruction will be given every night. On the night of the Ball, each participant must have their own IFPL membership or pay $10 to participate. Clothing Suggestions: Clothing for the practices can be casual. Dress for the Ball should be formal, semi-formal, or Regency Era. Popular accessories included shawls, fans, monocles, and cravats. A Regency era hat would be appropriate. Gloves were traditionally worn. *Attendees must be at least 13 years of age to attend.
