Join us for the Drug Overdose Prevention & Response Training, a free community class offered by College of Eastern Idaho WTCE in partnership with Eastern Idaho Public Health at the Idaho Falls Public Library. This training provides vital knowledge and skills, including opioid and naloxone education, an overview of the Idaho Good Samaritan Law, recognizing and responding to an opioid overdose, and understanding stigma and accessing community resources. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn how you can make a difference in preventing and responding to opioid overdoses in our community! Need to know what to do in case of an overdose? During this in-depth training, you will learn to recognize the signs of overdose and train on how to use Narcan. Free samples of Narcan will be available for participants who complete the training.
