IDEA BOOST: Sticker Lab

Tuesday, April 7, 2026, 6:30 – 8:30pm   Digital Media Lab Patrons can come into the Digital Media Lab for assistance with making stickers that we can also then print with our inkjet printer and cut with our Cricut. The Digital Media Lab regularly offers an Epson Ecotank Inkjet Printer and a Cricut for reservation during our Help Hours. We only have a limited supply of sticker paper available, so please plan to bring your own. Sticker paper (glossy, vinyl, or transparent) must be 8.5’ x 11’ to fit our inkjet printer. These papers should say “For Inkjet Printer” on their packaging. We currently do not allow cardstock sticker paper or heavy papers in our inkjet printer. Printing on your own paper is 50 cents per page for color and 10 cents for black-and-white. Victor can also help with Adobe products such as Photoshop or browser apps like Canva for patrons who want to use effects, graphics, or text from those apps in their stickers. We recommend that patrons have a safe way to transport their stickers either in an envelope or between sheets of soft material, so as not to scratch or damage the finished designs. ———————— Join us in the Digital Media Lab for IDEA BOOST specialty help hours every Tuesday evening from 6:30-8:30 PM. During IDEA BOOST, Victor will help patrons make graphics for Sticker Lab (every first Tuesday of the month), use Canva to for various graphic designs (every second Tuesday of the month), make shirts and vinyl cuts during Cricut Lab (every third Tuesday of the month), and edit media during Photo and Video Lab (every fourth Tuesday of the month)! Our specialty help hours will not replace the assistance we offer in the Digital Media Lab during our regularly scheduled Help Hours. Our goal with this series is to spotlight some areas of interest that patrons have requested from feedback surveys. During these special help hours, patrons are also more than welcome to request that Victor explore a certain feature, a certain software, or other ideas in-between months, so that he can provide specialty assistance on the following month’s IDEA BOOST!
