Stories and Stitches: Quilts for Kids

Attend a special “show and tell” featuring the Ipswich Museum’s quilt collection. We’ll take a look at a selection of quilts that are not on public view and learn about their history. Using this as inspiration, everyone will then design and assemble quilt square iron-on patches to take home. Come learn more about the importance and the history of quilting in Ipswich! Date: Wednesday, July 15, 2026 Time: 10:30 – 12:00 PM Cost: $15 Members / $20 Non-members Great for ages 8-12. All materials will be provided. Meet in the Appleton Room at the Ipswich Museum in the Heard House. Parking is available at the Ipswich Museum on 54 S Main Street.
