Our May Great Irish Book Club Book is “Wild Houses” by: Colin Barret Join us for our next Great Irish Book Club meeting at 2PM on Saturday, May 9, when we will discuss “Wild Houses” (272 pages). About the “Wild Houses”: Long listed for Booker Prize. Tells the story of a small-town kidnapping in County Mayo, Ireland, where two small-time crooks, Gabe and Sketch, abduct Doll English, the younger brother of a local lad. This is a free event and we will meet in the Irish American Heritage Center Library. This is our ninth Great Irish Book Club book for the season.
