Plant Native! with Seven Springs Farm

Native plants are the foundation of our ecosystems, providing an essential and beautiful part of the world around us. This presentation will provide a general overview of native plants, their benefits to people and wildlife alike and why they are so fun to grow. About the Presenter: Ellen Haynes and her husband own and operate Seven Springs Farm and Plant Nursery in Six Mile and call it home. The Haynes family cultivates native plants, edible/medicinal herbs and produce and raise small livestock. They believe in staying as close to nature, using natural, chemical-free alternatives whenever possible.
