Stagiaire Tasting with the Winemaker

Join us as we welcome the winemaker of Stagiaire Wine, Brent Mayeaux, from Santa Cruz, California. We’ll have a line up of 6 of his wines to taste. He prides himself on farming “beyond organic” — in the sense that the certification requirements are actually, in his words, a “low bar”. Let’s have a conversation about natural wines, zero-zero wines, and what it means to farm truly thoughtfully. We have TWO styles of tastings available on this day: 1- An informal tasting at the bar, with the winemaker, from 4:30-5:30pm. Costs $10 and includes 5 wines. 2- A seated tasting and conversation with the winemaker. Let’s deep dive into what natural, zero-zero wine really means. This tasting is 5:30-6:30pm, costs $15 and includes 6 wines, snacks, and a $5 credit towards any bottle purchase. Seating will be limited, for a more intimate tasting and conversation with the winemaker. A ticket is required for the seated tasting. No ticket or RSVP is required for the informal tasting — you can drop in any time between 4:30-5:30pm.
