Huey Lewis and the News is an American rock band formed in San Francisco in 1979, led by singer Huey Lewis. Key components of their success include their breakthrough 1983 album Sports, global chart-toppers like “The Power of Love” & “Hip To Be Sqaure”, and Lewis’s later retirement from performing due to hearing loss.
