DJ Bootcamp Fall Session

JAS Aspen Snowmass and TACAW present DJ Boot Camp, a six-week after-school program for beginner and intermediate students in grades 6–8 who want to learn the fundamentals of live DJing. Led by local musician and educator Alex Eherenman, DJ Boot Camp gives students hands-on experience with the tools, technology, and techniques used by DJs. Students will learn how to use DJ equipment and software, upload and select tracks, crossfade and mix songs, manipulate tracks, use effects, explore different genres, build a set, and develop live performance skills. The six-week program meets Mondays from 4:15–6:00 p.m. at TACAW on November 2, 9, 16, and 30 and December 7 and 14. Students should plan to attend all six sessions. Scholarships are available.
