Join us after our river walk as part of the Coast-To-Coast Movement Challenge at the ZACC for live music. Stay for the bands featuring blind musicians from Missoula and a brief presentation or two from local leaders in the Blind People’s Movement! Sometimes fast and grating with some punk and hardcore influences, other times it’s spacey and brooding. Always heavy, always with intensity. Featuring members of Missoula mainstays like The Stranglies, Nightwitch and Shramana. The Classics have been playing regional shows since 1977. This outfit could play two hours of blues, rock, jazz or country in their sleep. Clementine and Katko play Americana like no duo in Western Montana. Composed of multidimensional vocalist and rhythm guitarist Hannah Clemenson and genre-jumping harmonica player Chris Katko, their sound is unexpectedly versatile for just two people. Katko buffed and shined his style through years of travel and thousands of nights on stage from Nashville, to Austin, to Memphis, to Tensleep Wyoming. He met Montana raised singer-songwriter Hannah Clemenson one night in San Francisco and the pair has made musical magic ever since. With a setlist sprinkled with originals and covers ranging from Guy Clark to Pink Floyd, the jury is still out whether they play something for everybody, or nothing for nobody.
