From Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens

@ Dive into native plants and ecology-based design! Using native plants requires more than simply expanding the conventional design palette. New design, implementation, and management techniques emerge from observing how native plants develop in nature; many of which are diametrically opposed to traditional horticultural practice. Examine how alternative approaches—from selecting, arranging, and spacing plants to the simple act of weeding—can yield more easily maintained landscapes that express the beauty and ecological richness of our native landscapes. Workshop includes an indoor presentation and outdoor garden walk—please dress appropriately. Led by Larry Weaner, FAPLD, Founder, Larry Weaner Landscape Associates Members: $50 | Non-Members: $60 Photo credit: Rob Cardillo Add to calendar Google Calendar iCalendar Outlook 365 Outlook Live Details Date: Time: EDT
