One Comet Community Conversation Event

Join us for a journey back in time and discover the history of the Railroad in Jonesville! From 10-11 AM, we will be at the Old Jonesville Depot with Jeff and Harrison James. They will give us a presentation about Jonesville's Railroad. They will also demonstrate how railroad workers used to drive the spikes when building rails. Note: parking for this event is located behind the Country Carpets building - please do not use the driveway that leads to the depot (this is private property). Then, from 11-Noon, join us downtown Jonesville to meet important historical figures who helped shape Jonesville's Railroad in the early days. We will have actors at several local businesses to share history. Complete your train ticket and receive a free hot cocoa from Jilly Beans Too! At Noon, we encourage everyone to head to Hillsdale, where a steam train will be arriving.
