The 43rd Annual Quick Draw Event

The 43rd Annual Wallowa Valley Arts Festival presents: The Quick Draw Event!   Saturday, September 19 1:00 – 4:00 PM Mt. Joseph Lodge Gardens   Join us for one of the most exciting and energetic traditions of the Wallowa Valley Arts Festival — the Quick Draw! This lively event invites festival artists to create a finished artwork in just 90 minutes, while guests watch the creative process unfold in real time. Set in the beautiful gardens of the Mt. Joseph Lodge, the Quick Draw offers a rare opportunity for visitors to see professional artists working on site while enjoying live local music and the stunning Wallowa Mountain setting. Artists may paint en plein air, from memory, or using reference photos. When time is called, brushes go down and the freshly completed works are quickly framed and displayed for a silent auction. Visitors can bid on the artwork and take their winning piece home that same afternoon. Award Best Quick Draw Painting Award – $200 Event Schedule 1:00 – 2:00 PM – Artist setup 1:30 – 3:30 PM – Live local music in the garden 2:00 – 3:30 PM – 90-Minute Quick Draw painting session 3:30 – 3:45 PM – Stop work and framing 4:00 PM – Silent auction bidding closes and buyers take artwork home Sales All Quick Draw artwork will be sold through an action packed silent auction during the event! Commission: 30% on all Quick Draw sales.
