Wednesday Clay Club with Julia R. Allen Class Details Instructor: Julia R. Allen Day: Wednesdays, 5-8:30 pm (not 11/25) Experience: Open to pottery students and makers with some ceramics experience. Come spend some time with clay! Wednesday Clay Club with Julia R. Allen is a relaxed, hands-on ceramics gathering for artists who enjoy working with clay, exploring new ideas, and making alongside other creative people. Whether you’re continuing your pottery practice, experimenting with handbuilding, or simply looking for a welcoming place to spend time with clay, Wednesday Clay Club offers an opportunity to create, learn, and connect. Julia brings years of experience working with both handbuilding and wheel-throwing techniques to the studio. A native of Wallowa County, Julia discovered pottery while in college and continued developing her practice over the years, eventually building a home studio and exploring a variety of ceramic techniques. Since returning to Wallowa County in 2020, she has continued to develop her work, including experimenting with Raku firing. Clay Club is a great way to keep your hands busy, build your skills, and enjoy the creative process in a supportive studio environment. Julia will be available to offer guidance, answer questions, and share techniques as you work. Come make something, try something new, and spend a Wednesday with clay!
