Art Shows This is an opportunity for guests to explore the Joslyn Castle campus and view three different art shows in the Carriage House Cafe, Gallery and the first two floors of the Castle. Joslyn Castle: Unfurl Celebrating the “unfurling” that follows transitions and growth. A group show curated by LALA On view in the Conservatory, Morning, and Gold rooms of Joslyn Castle. Exhibiting Artists: Valerie Light Anderson Obed Sanchez-Liborio Jeff Sedrel Carriage House Gallery: Opera Omaha’s “Unshakeable” youth art show. Calling all young artists and creators! Opera Omaha & Joslyn Castle’s Youth Art Show invites artists ages 18 or younger to showcase what sparks their creativity! Just like how Opera Omaha’s production of UnShakeable uses the legacy of Shakespeare to craft an original new story, this exhibit explores how the arts themselves inspire us to create art. Themes: Art inspired art Beyond a frame From page to picture Music into image Reimagined Masterpieces Carriage House Cafe: The Joslyn’s KBMP Arts Management group is hosting an exhibition they have curated at the Joslyn Castle Carriage House Cafe, featuring work by KBMP mentors and staff. The title was chosen to reflect what the mentors leave with the mentees and what inspiration they take with them.
