@ Be our guest for a special Mother’s Day edition tour of Joslyn Castle & Gardens! Our fantastic docent will delve into the history of Omaha’s philanthropic matriarch of herself, Sarah Joslyn, and discuss her relationships with the important women in her life, her niece who she raised as her own and Violet, who the Joslyn’s adopted from the Child Saving Institute. Violet Joslyn went on to have her own twin girls and an adopted son from the Child Saving Institute. Though Violet raised her family on the East Coast, they often visited their family Castle in Omaha. Each ticket includes: One complimentary mimosa or sparkling juice One corsage for each mother in your party (please reach out to Melissa McCarthy mmccarthy@joslyncastle.com with requests) Doors open at 10:45am and the 90 minute tour begins at 11am. There is ample free parking on site. Wear comfortable shoes as there are lots of stairs. There is a lift at the back entrance and an elevator inside the Castle for those with mobility issues.
