About this event
One of 9 upcoming events at Jung Center of Buffalo, and 1,322 across Buffalo.
Women are invited to join Women's Jung Study Group The women’s Jung Study Group welcomes women who want to expand their knowledge of Carl Jung, the founder of analytical psychology. During meetings, we explore Jung’s theories, ideas and perspective as they impact our lives and the world around us. Currently, the group is reading Women Who Run with the Wolves: Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Archetype, a highly acclaimed 1992 collection of myths and stories that focus on an emblematic inner “wild woman” who might serve to inform, guide or mentor us. Each story is followed by commentary from the author, Jungian analyst Clarissa Pinkola Estes, where the wild woman archetype might offer gifts such as wisdom, healing, joy, freedom and inspiration. Deeply connected to nature and untamed instinct, these stories have the power to awaken and reconnect a woman to her own “wild woman.” Feel free to come with or without a copy of the book since material is read aloud. The study group meets at Trinity Center, 371 Delaware Avenue, 7:00 to 8:30, on the first and third Monday every month. For further information, contact Lisa Kruger at 716-479-9325 or [email protected]
