Ohio: Wild at Heart

Connect to your inner trailblazer as you explore the wild beauty of our neighbor, the Buckeye State in “Ohio: Wild at Heart.” As you kayak, mountain bike, ice fish and even dogsled your way through Ohio’s stunning parks and waterways, discover a story of resilience and the deep connection between people and nature. Experience a story of epic comebacks, from the return of bald eagles and trumpeter swans to the revival of once-polluted rivers. And meet the everyday Ohioans restoring Ohio’s natural treasures, such as wildlife rehabilitators preparing orphaned bobcats for release back to the wild. Narrated by Ohio legend Archie Griffin and captured for the first time on the giant screen, Ohio’s wilderness unfolds – from the sandstone cliffs of Hocking Hills and the sparkling shores of Lake Erie to the winding Buckeye Trail, the glacial grooves of Kelleys Island and the glittering fireflies of the Edge of Appalachia Preserve System. Come celebrate the magic waiting just beyond your doorstep – and the joy of reconnecting with the natural world! “Ohio: Wild at Heart” is a MacGillivray Freeman film presented by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. Carnegie Museums Member: $8 – Tickets available soon! Tickets can be purchased up to four weeks in advance. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the show, as it begins promptly at the start time.
