Annual YachtVenture

YachtVenture is an annual waterfront fundraising event that combines coastal elegance, community spirit, and support for children’s education. Hosted by the The Children's Museum of Wilmington, the event invites guests to experience an evening of yacht tours, fine dining, live entertainment, and fundraising activities along the Wilmington waterfront. Attendees have the opportunity to step aboard some of the region’s most impressive privately owned yachts, meet vessel owners and captains, and enjoy a unique behind-the-scenes look at life on the water. In addition to touring luxury yachts, guests can enjoy craft cocktails, coastal-inspired cuisine, live music, raffles, and a silent auction featuring a variety of exclusive experiences, local products, and vacation packages. The adults-only event brings together business leaders, boating enthusiasts, community members, and supporters of the museum for a memorable evening celebrating Wilmington’s coastal heritage and maritime culture. Proceeds from YachtVenture benefit the Children’s Museum of Wilmington and help support its mission of inspiring learning through play. Funds raised through the event contribute to educational exhibits, hands-on programming, outreach initiatives, and opportunities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and exploration for children and families throughout the Cape Fear region. Over the years, YachtVenture has grown into one of Wilmington’s premier fundraising events, offering guests a distinctive blend of philanthropy, waterfront entertainment, and community engagement while supporting an organization dedicated to enriching the lives of young learners.
