Monday, November 9th, 2026 Stinking Lizaveta is hitting the road with Deathbird Earth this November to celebrate the release of the new record “Cassandra, Prophet of Doom”, out September 18th on SRA Records. World famous locals Archaos and The Magpie join the bill for a mind-altering Monday night of doom. STINKING LIZAVETA Bandcamp | Instagram | Facebook “If you want to know how hard Stinking Lizaveta rocks, ask people who rock. “When people ask who my greatest musical influences are, they typically expect me to say Black Sabbath or Slayer. The real answer includes the mighty Stinking Lizaveta,” said guitarist Kyle Schutt of the Sword. “A truly masterful set of musicians.” Born in West Philadelphia basements, raised in a blue Chevy van, Stinking Lizaveta has spent almost three decades building an unmatched catalog of instrumental rock, starting with its self-titled 1995 EP released on Joe Lally’s (of Fugazi) Tolotta Records. “They blew us all away,” recalled Gary Mader, bass guitarist with Eyehategod. “Heavy in a whole different way – dynamic riffs with fractal perfection, a rhythm section with the fluidity and warmth of old school jazz, and guitar leads that made vocals unnecessary.” Today, the band is preparing its ninth release, as yet untitled, which finds Stinking Lizaveta as challenging and vital as ever.”” DEATHBIRD EARTH Website | Bandcamp | Spotify | Instagram “DEATHBIRD EARTH is a two piece band from Philadelphia” ARCHAOS Facebook Archaos is an evolving Raleigh power trio, going all in with archaic heaviness and filthy grooves”. THE MAGPIE Bandcamp | Youtube | Facebook | Instagram “The Magpie is heavy rock and roll band from Raleigh, NC, formed by Erik Sugg (Demon Eye) and Brian Walsby (Double Negative, Snake Nation, Polvo.) Their Firelight Records debut, engineered by Corrosion of Conformity’s Mike Dean, fuses elements of heavy metal, post hardcore, noise, and vintage psychedelia. Recommended for lovers of heavy underground ’90s rock, stoner metal, and ’80s punk.”
