Food is our love language At Tinidor Foods, we believe that, and we also believe that food is also so much more. Food can be a love language that celebrates our family, friends, and romantic partners. Food can be an ambassador that helps us learn about other cultures, and it can also be a storyteller - informing others about a culture’s past, its values, and its overall history. Food can even celebrate those that are no longer in our lives, and help us appreciate the past in a unique way. Like many other food stories, our journey began in the kitchens of our mothers and grandmothers. It’s a story of emigrating to new countries, learning new languages, and adapting recipes using new ingredients. Today our kitchen is slowly expanding, but most importantly it’s making its way from our hearts to yours. In our families, one’s prowess in the kitchen was enviable, and food was always held up on a pedestal. We work hard to produce the food we love, using a combination of local ingredients and the flavors that are reminiscent of our motherland. Food is critical to the Filipino culture, similar to so many other existing cultures. We share and express our love by preparing and sharing delicious meals with one another. Food is a love language because it can connect you to regions of the world thousands of miles away, and friends and family that might not even be around anymore. Tindor Foods was originally founded because of a lack of Filipino food options in the Portland Metro area. We’ve had a lot of ups and downs, and made some incredible friendships, but we are proud to forge ahead and spread more food - and love! We deliver quality catering services at an affordable price to a wide range of customers. Our services will involve the extra mile to give our esteemed customers value for their money irrespective of the size of their budget. As such, we do not intend to turn any one down, because of the meager amount of cash they may have. Please follow our social media for our Pop-Up Events.
