Mother’s Day

Celebrate Mother’s Day (and Mother Nature) at the Wildflower Center! Guests can enjoy spring wildflowers, order–ahead picnic boxes, music performances, and much more. Sunday May 10, 2026 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Picnic box orders close at 11:59 p.m. on May 4. Registration Info Admission is free for members. Celebrate mom with a Wildflower Center membership!   Pre-registration is required for picnic boxes and craft participation. Food & Drink Enjoy a variety of food and drink options available throughout the day: Food trucks onsite, including Garbo’s, Kold Kutz sandwiches, and Sweet Frida Charcuterie cart options available for purchase (no pre-order required) Boxed lunches from Spread & Co. available for pre-order (details and order-by date coming soon) Bar serving alcoholic beverages and coffee Wildflower Birdhouse Craft  Add a creative touch to your Mother’s Day celebration. Bring the little ones for a special craft they’ll be proud to give! Participants will: Paint a wooden birdhouse Add embellishments of flowers and butterflies Leave with a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted gift crafted just for mom More details, including pricing and timing, will be announced soon! Supplies are limited and pre-registration is required. Craft station open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Little House Garden — select the arrival window that you prefer and arrive anytime during that window (9-10 a.m., 10-11 a.m., 11-12 p.m., 12-1 p.m.) All ages welcome (children must be accompanied by an adult) Music Kelsi Creek and Ryan DeSiato will perform in the Courtyard!
