Climb aboard The Magic School Bus, the beloved Scholastic series created by Joanna Cole and illustrated by Bruce Degen, known for turning science into hands-on adventure for generations of young readers. This new musical adaptation is based primarily on the fan favorite book Lost in the Solar System, where a routine class trip to the planetarium takes an unexpected turn. When the class gets lost on the way to the planetarium, Ms. Frizzle saves the day by blasting into outer space for an epic interplanetary field trip! But when rivalries both old and new threaten to tear the students apart, our young heroes must learn to pull together or risk getting forever lost in the solar system. Guided by the ever curious Ms. Frizzle, the journey blends humor, science, and heart in a way that has made The Magic School Bus a lasting favorite. Approximate running time is 60 minutes. Student matinees will be presented for school groups, along with a public performance. School Matinee Dates: Monday, Oct. 19 @ 10:00am & 12:00pm Tuesday, Oct. 20 @ 10:00am & 12:00pm For information about joining us for the school matinees, please call the box office at 985.331.3670 or email [email protected].
