Lower Richland Sweet Potato Festival The Lower Richland Sweet Potato Festival brings together family, friends, and the community for a day of celebration and fun. Originally a small local event, the festival has grown to attract attendees from across the region, showcasing the best of what Lower Richland has to offer. Designed for all ages, the festival features a variety of entertainment, including a parade starting at 11:00 AM, praise dancers, step teams, a drum line, a health fair, a live band, arts and crafts, games, music, and a kids’ fun zone. This is an alcohol- and smoke-free event. For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, golf carts, ATVs, tents, and non-service animals are not permitted.
