About this event

Live Music

Coming to the Icehouse Amphitheatre, originating from Gainesville, Florida, Sister Hazel consists of five seasoned musicians whose collective talent earned them a spot among the “Top 100 Most Influential Independent Performers of the last 15 years” according to Performing Songwriter Magazine. The band achieved massive mainstream success in the summer of 1997 when their hit single “All for You” topped the adult alternative charts, propelling their second album to platinum status. Fan Engagement and Philanthropy: Sister Hazel is widely recognized for a fan-centered business model. They host the annual “Hazelnut Hang” and were pioneers in the themed cruise industry as co-founders of “The Rock Boat,” an event designed for high levels of artist-fan interaction. Their presence in the country community has also led to performances on the Grand Ole Opry stage and appearances at major festivals like the CMA Festival and Tortuga Music Festival. Beyond music, the band remains committed to social causes through “Lyrics For Life.” Founded by lead singer Ken Block and the band, this charity mobilizes musicians and celebrities for concerts and auctions to raise funds for cancer research and patient-care initiatives.
