Experience one of Lake Murray’s most remarkable natural events during the Purple Martin Sunset Cruise aboard the Spirit of Lake Murray. This evening cruise offers a front-row seat to watch thousands of purple martins gather at sunset, creating a spectacular sight over the water. Boarding begins at 6:00 PM, with cruising from 7:00 PM – 9:30 PM. Cruises run on multiple dates between June 25 and September 4, 2026, departing from the Spirit of Lake Murray Marina.
