Saturday, November 14 | 1:30–4:30PM | Ages 17+ Discover the rich colors and expressive possibilities of oil pastels! Perfect for beginners, this hands-on class will introduce students to color mixing, blending, layering, and texture while exploring a variety of tools and techniques for working with this soft, creamy medium. Instructor Jona Brown will guide students through playful experimentation while building confidence with oil pastels and discovering ways to create vibrant, expressive works of art. No previous experience is necessary! About the Instructor: Jona Brown is a Fergus Falls-based artist known for her colorful, story-inspired paintings of chickens, butterflies, kitchens, and everyday life. With a background in oil painting and interior design, Jona brings creativity, curiosity, and a love of storytelling to her work.
