Francis J. Greenburger is an American real estate developer, literary agent, art collector, and philanthropist with a career spanning six decades and a lifelong commitment to art, education, and justice reform. He is the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Time Equities Inc. Founded in 1966, Time Equities, Inc. (“TEI”) is a diversified investment, development, asset and property management, licensed real estate brokerage, and alternative energy company that has been in business for 60 years. The TEI portfolio includes approximately 46.8 million square feet of residential, industrial, office, retail, and mixed use property including about 5,200 multi-family apartment units, approximately 1 million square feet in pending acquisitions, and 2.3 million square feet of various property types in stages of pre-development and development. He also services on the board of multiple education and justice reform not-for-profit organizations and is an active donor to over 100 charitable organizations. Mr. Greenburger graduated from Baruch College in 1974 with a degree in Public Administration. He is an avid tennis player and traveler. He resides in Manhattan with his wife, Isabelle Autones, and is the proud father of four children. LAI NY Chapter President Jason Barr is a professor of economics at Rutgers University-Newark. Dr. Barr received his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University (1992) and a Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University (2002). Dr. Barr is the author of the books Building the Skyline: The Birth and Growth of Manhattan’s Skyscrapers (OUP, 2016) and Cities in the Sky: The Quest to Build the World’s Tallest Skyscrapers (Scribner, 2024). His research has been featured in The Washington Post, The Economist, Curbed.com, and Architectural Record. His writings have appeared in The New York Times, StarTrek.com, Dezeen.com, Scientific American, and the Irish Independent. He currently writes the Skynomics Blog, a blog about skyscrapers, cities, and economics. A light breakfast with coffee will be served. This event offers 1 AICP Certification Maintenance Credit.
