In Oregon, it stands out in a region with few traditional pupu ori groups. Accompanied by the rhythms of pahu drums and toere, students learn both the technique and cultural traditions of Tahitian dance, including costume making and language. Rooted in the spirit of arofa or aloha, the school fosters respect, connection, and a strong sense of dance feti’i, or family, while helping students build strength, discipline, and confidence.
