Prerequisites This course is for EMTs, nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, PAs, or other medical professionals. On our two-day Wilderness Medicine for the Professional Practitioner course, you’ll learn to apply your existing medical knowledge in a new way to manage a patient in a wilderness, remote, or disaster setting. You’ll learn both in the classroom and in outdoor settings regardless of weather, so come prepared for wet, muddy, cold or hot environments!
