We are officially hosting the Live Auditions for the Big Sky Comedy Festival. This festival has become the ultimate “kingmaker” in the industry—case in point: 6 of the finalists on the brand-new Netflix show Funny AF are Big Sky alumni. The festival runners are flying in to scout for talent, and at least one comic from the PNW is guaranteed to be selected for the 2026 festival. Auditioning comedians include Andy Iwancio, Creme Brulee, Andrew Rivers, Scott Losse, Lucy Tollefson, Tyrik Woods, Timmy Booth, Corrina Lee Allen, Min Lin, Narin Vann and more! Since 2012, Big Sky has established itself as one of the top comedy festivals in the country, hosting exceptional showcases to sold out crowds, and creating meaningful connections between performers and industry. The Big Sky lineup features 24 comedians, handpicked from a large pool of applicants. With 10+ shows in venues across the city, the festival is always packed with creative new shows to keep things fresh and fun. Schedule highlights have included “Comics Under the Influence,” “Ladies of Laughter,” and “The Family Friendly Show.” Big Sky Comedy Festival comedians don’t come just to perform – they’re here to compete in the festival’s signature event, “The Competition,” which splits the comedians into teams for an exciting head-to-head battle. During the festival, catch Team Seely (led by local comedian Lukas Seely) face off against Team Auggie (led by comedian and Billings native Auggie Smith), in official competition shows at The Red Door and High Horse. The competition is scored by a panel of industry judges, which has featured representatives from CBS, NBC, Comedy Central, The Tonight Show, Carnival and Norwegian Cruise Lines, and many more – ensuring the festival’s best comics move on to the next round. The top 8 comedians advance to the grand finale, held at the historic Alberta Bair Theater, where one will be crowned MVP.
