Art in the Park exhibit of Participating Artists

Phoenix Gallery’s exhibit of artists participating in Lawrence Art Guild’s Art in the Park will have an opening reception on Friday, August 29th, from 6 - 9:00 pm. The show will remain open at the Gallery through September 11th. Art in the Park will be held September 13th & 14th this year Art in the Park is a Lawrence tradition dating back to 1964 and is the Lawrence Art Guild's premier fundraising event. Winning "Best Event in Lawrence" for 5 years as voted by the public in the "Best of Lawrence" contest, Art in the Park is a Lawrence favorite. 2025 will be our fifth year as a two day event with over 20,000 visitors expected. Fifteen musical groups create beautiful background music (keeping in mind volume for artists), and food vendors provide a wide variety of sweet and savory options.
