Volunteer Work Crew

Volunteers meet at the Preserve on Tuesday and Thursday mornings to do maintenance and enhancement projects. Come out and join us! Activities include planting new native plants, maintaining and enhancing the butterfly habitat, mowing preserve trails, clearing vines from recent plantings, water quality monitoring, and many other projects. Most people work two hours, but your schedule is up to you. If you’d like more information, call the office at 941-830-8922 and we’ll put you in touch with our volunteer coordinators.
