7:10 PM – Levitt Youth Spotlight presented by Texas Trust Credit Union 7:30 PM – Supporting Act TBA  8:30 PM – Blue Tongue  Austin-based funk fusion collective Blue Tongue’s music is served with equal parts funk, psych and electrifying live performances. Now for the average band, “electrifying” means solid musical chops and maybe a few jumps. But if you’re irrepressible Blue Tongue frontman Tre Pham (guitar, vocals), it also includes actual gymnastics of the backflip and splits nature. The rhythm section boasts drummer Hunter Thompson’s mastery of jazz influenced groove, and Rowan Smoot’s muscular slap bass artistry. The ensemble is completed with Savannah Thieme’s buoyant synth textures, the hilariously virtuosic David Thal on trumpet, the effortlessly smooth Trevor Gonzales on tenor saxophone, the sonic power of Jeremy Howell on baritone sax, master Latin Percussionist Alex Alco, and finally the additional colors of guitarist Lee Chavez, now you have a Show.
