Join us for an introduction to food fermentation, where you’ll learn the basic principles behind this ancient preservation technique and create a small jar of your own ferment to take home and enjoy later. Explore the history of fermentation as a method of food preservation, discuss the science behind how and why it works, and sample a variety of styles of fermented foods.
