Beat of the Revolution!

As we continue celebrating America’s 250th birthday, join us for an interactive day of history, music, and hands-on fun! Guests can make their own instruments, enjoy games and snacks, try on Colonial clothing, and even play authentic military rhythms on the drums. Learn how drums were used to communicate and keep soldiers in step during the Revolutionary War through an engaging, hands-on presentation led by percussionist and museum educator Justin Vedovelli. It’s a fun and unique way to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary while bringing history to life through music! Recommended for ages 5 through 12. Reservations are required. Space is limited.
