Work with Stephen W. Schwartz of Building Blocks Workshops to visualize the Township of Union as you’ve never seen it before. Using thousands of LEGO building blocks at your disposal, teams will learn basic architectural principles to recreate specific buildings in Union, such as Town Hall, the Caldwell Parsonage, Liberty Hall Museum, the Union Public Library, and heritage houses. You’ll be assigned a favorite local structure to construct and work together to create a scale model. At the end of the session, the teams will place their buildings on a large-scale map (please note: you do not get to keep the LEGO creations). Co-presented with the Township of Union’s 250th Anniversary Committee in conjunction with Building Blocks Workshops. $25/per team. Each group needs at least 1 adult and no more than 3 children. Team of 4 Max. Registration Required, per team. This event takes place in the Union High School Gym. Click here to register (click on Township Events)!
Built in 1772, on the eve of the American Revolution, Liberty Hall has been a silent witness to more than 200 years of American history in Union, NJ!
