City of Water Day 2026 will take place on Saturday, July 25, featuring free, family-friendly events across New York and New Jersey waterfronts. City of Water Day is a region-wide celebration of waterfront access, climate resilience, and community engagement, organized by the Waterfront Alliance and the New York–New Jersey Harbor & Estuary Program (HEP) in its 19th year. The event spans all five boroughs of New York City, Westchester and Rockland counties, and parts of New Jersey, offering activities on and near rivers, bays, creeks, and canals.
