Trail Tuesday: Hike Zak Preserve

Join us for Trail Tuesdays with the Boothbay Region Land Trust! Every Tuesday at 10 AM, we’ll gather at a different BRLT trailhead for a leisurely 1–2 mile hike, allowing plenty of time to soak in the scenery and marvel at nature along the way. Led by a naturalist, our walks include occasional stops to share fascinating insights into each preserve’s ecology, including its diverse plant and animal life. No need to worry about advanced registration—simply lace up your sturdy hiking shoes, bring water, and meet us at the parking lot kiosk. Trail conditions vary by preserve and may include uneven terrain, roots, rocks, hills, or wet areas, so please come prepared and choose footwear appropriate for the trail. To help ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone and to protect the wildlife we encounter, please leave dogs at home. In the event of inclement weather, cancellations will be posted on the BRLT website 24 hours in advance.
