Military Culture Awareness and Suicide Prevention

Event Hosted Online on Zoom The Military Culture Awareness & Suicide Prevention Training is a full-day training that addresses in-depth knowledge and skills to bridge this gap between community members, organizations, and providers, and Veterans who seek care. By educating anyone connected to the military and veteran community – behavioral health and healthcare providers, educators, counselors, and community members – on Veteran and Military-specific language and other cultural cues, as well as providing access to specific suicide prevention and intervention assessments, we hope to improve familiarity with Service Members’ needs around mental health and suicide.
