About this event

This class will focus on special techniques to develop detailed scene exposition and contrast that towards larger narrative drive and big picture story development. We will read a variety of in-class readings to support our understanding of the essential concepts of story structure. Students can hope to take away 10-20 pages of refined writing/ multimedia projects that have received two iterations of review. Novelists, short story writers, budding filmmakers and multimedia storytellers all welcome! Access Program We want our writing classes and seminars to be accessible to everyone, regardless of income and background. We understand that our tuition structure can present obstacles for some people. Our Access Program offers writing class and seminar tuitions at a reduced rate. Most writing classes have at least one access spot available. Please apply here for access rate tuition. Contact Susan Moore at susan@literary-arts.org if you have questions.
