Quick-n-Dirty Spec Fic

Facilitated by Déy Rivers Wanna play in alternate worlds? It’s challenging but glorious here! Join us for an Intro to Spec-Fic. Learn what is considered Speculative Fiction. Get ideas down using artwork as inspiration to explore spec-fic lines of thinking: “What if..”, “If only…” and “If this goes on…” Walk away with writing to possibly expand or refine later. Portland Book Festival youth writing workshops are recommended for ages 14+. Workshops are free to attend but require a festival wristband (free for youth) and registration in advance. Please register by purchasing a free ticket below.
