Live Music: Long Tide

Long Tide perform traditional and modern ballads, and sea chanteys, and other folk music, both a capella and with historical instruments. Long Tide consists of area musicians Mike Hotkowski and Ian Basilone. Mike is an award-winning songwriter and member of the Jovial Crew (performs at The Griswold Inn in Essex on Monday Nights) and Ian is a historian specializing in his hometown of Deep River and its ivory trade. They have both taken part in the CT Sea Music Festival since its inception.
