Fusion Yoga Saturdays – Yoga with Naturally Empowered

Join us for Summer yoga in Charles McGee Legacy Park with Naturally Empowered 1265 Parkview Street, Detroit, MI 48214 When: Slow Burn Yoga Thursdays from 4-5pm Fusion Yoga Saturdays from 9-10am Descriptions: Slow Burn (Thursdays) is where practice meets the present moment. Move at the pace of your breath, sink into intentional holds, and let the stillness of your surroundings carry you deeper into your practice. This is yoga as it was meant to be: unhurried, embodied, and shared. Fusion (Saturdays) is where movement meets restoration. This class opens with the energizing rhythm of Vinyasa-style sun salutations, then slows into the long, intentional holds of Slow Burn- finishing with deep stretching that lets your body fully arrive. It’s the best of both worlds: you’ll build heat, find your breath, and stretch it out- all in one practice. “The sculpture garden is a place to contemplate, meditate and seek peace. The inspirational components within the Little Village cultural hub implore the creative community to utilize artistic means to interact with nature, push parameters, and achieve unity and togetherness,” said April McGee-Flournoy. All classes start with slow, intentional movement & stretching, building up to postures synchronized with breath and finish with stretching & rest. Outdoor yoga is a beautiful way to step into community and experience movement alongside others. Community yoga is offered on a $5–$25 sliding scale. Give what feels right for you today.
