Inspired by the theme From Concrete to Creek, this guided painting workshop celebrates the transformation of Town Branch from an urban corridor into a vibrant natural waterway. Following a short guided walk along the creek for inspiration, participants will create their own nature-inspired painting with guidance from The Living Arts & Science Center artist Summer Smith The workshop also aligns with Live Green Lexington's From Concrete to Creek art call, which selected Gatton Park as one of the primary inspirations for this year's theme. Participants will be encouraged to submit their finished paintings by September 13 to be featured in the fall exhibition, offering an opportunity to showcase artwork inspired by their experience at the park. Tickets are $25 per person and include all art supplies and artist instruction. Registration will be available through The Living Arts & Science Center.
