About this event

Wednesday, June 24th, 2026, Three Village Inn Cocktail Hour 6 pm | Dinner 7 pm | Live Auction to Follow Our organization is dedicated to preserving and sharing local historic and environmental properties that are tangible legacies of Stony Brook and the Three Villages. Discernable connections to America’s earliest chapters, the preservation of sites like The Brewster House (c.1665), The Thompson House (c.1709) and The Stony Brook Grist Mill (c.1751) ensure people will continue to learn from and be inspired by them. Built during the colonial period, they survived the British occupation of Long Island during the American Revolution and become interwoven in the stories of Long Islanders who not only witnessed, but contributed, to the development of the community and country. This year, we are proud to honor: Dr. Robert Honkanen Chair of Ophthalmology, Stony Brook Medicine Read more Ann Strong Associate Real Estate Broker, Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty Read more Linda Margolin, Esq. Ackerman, Pachman, Goldstein & Margolin, LLP Read more Brian Barton Community Leader and Former Owner, TEB North Country Car Care Read more We will also present a Certificate of Recognition to the Anna Smith Strong Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution for their exceptional and enduring contributions to preserving and promoting our shared history.
