Tabla - Adarsh Tolat with Arohi Tolat - vocal, Vedant Kansara - violin, Garavi Angreji - kathak dance, Quinn Knox - piano Krish Pandya - tenor saxophone Come join us for the final performance of Adarsh Tolat’s multi-year Chhandayan Certificate Course. This performance is the culmination of 8 years of study and will demonstrate Adarsh’s proficiency with multiple aspects of tabla. It will start with a tabla solo and then accompaniment of a Hindustani classical vocal performance by Arohi Tolat, a Hindustani violin performance by Vedant Kansara, and a Kathak dance performance by Garavi Angreji. Adarsh will conclude with a fusion jazz performance with Quinn Knox on piano and Krish Pandya on tenor saxophone. The performance will also be streamed live. Change of Venue The building in central Manhattan where Chhandayan was located for the past 20 years was sold and we were forced to vacate. While we look for a permanent home, previously scheduled events will still be held at alternate locations determined on month-to-month basis. The location for this performance will be finalized later. Purchase Tickets Adarsh Tolat Adarsh is one of Chhandayan's prize students. He has been studying at Chhandayan since his childhood. Now that he is about to graduate from highschool we are getting ready to congratulate him on his graduation from the eight-years course of Chhandayan Certificate Course in Tabla. He has been playing the tabla for around 10 years. He also plays the trumpet in his high school's select jazz band and serves as captain of the varsity tennis team. Adarsh is also a Boy Scout, recently earning the rank of Eagle Scout.
