Chess teaches lessons that involve math skills, spatial skills and critical thinking. If there is one class you sign up for, make sure it’s Chess Club! Please visit www.edgewaterlibrary.org to register. Children under the age of 10 years may not be left alone in the library or at ANY program. Caregivers must remain in the library until the program has concluded. Failure to comply will result in your child being removed from library programming. A valid Edgewater Free Public Library card will now be required prior to entrance. Please bring your child’s card. If you do not have one, you must bring your Edgewater Driver’s License or a major utility bill to secure a juvenile card prior to entrance.
The Edgewater Free Public Library was founded in 1911 and the current building built with funds from the Andrew Carnegie Corporation in 1915.
